Jalozai Housing Scheme Gets Gas and Electricity Services

PESHAWAR: Amjad Ali, the housing minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Wednesday formally unveiled the electrification and gas projects in the Jalozai Housing Scheme in Nowshera.

The minister, while speaking at the event, stated that the Jalozai Housing Project had all the necessary amenities for the building and occupancy of houses, and that the plot owners could begin construction whenever they wanted.

He praised the pace of the project and instructed the authorities to complete the work on time.

The Jalozai Housing Project is made up of 8,905 Kanal of land with 8,631 plots comprising 10, 7, 5, and 20 marla plot sizes, he added.

He also gave the site owners orders to begin construction at the earliest since all necessary amenities, including mosques, schools, hospitals, parks, and cemeteries, had already been built.

The minister said that the provincial government was taking action to give the impoverished and homeless better housing options, while highlighting the role the housing department was playing in rural development.

He also praised the housing department for its role in the achievement of the Jalozai Housing Project and expressed his satisfaction with the decisions made.
