RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) took an active step in raising awareness about dengue prevention by organizing a walk on Saturday.
Following the directives of RDA’s Director General, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the authorities worked diligently to spread anti-dengue awareness throughout the city.
The walk, which commenced from the RDA office and extended to Murree Road, saw the participation of key figures such as Deputy Director Finance RDA, Khawaja Arshad Javed, and Deputy Director Building Control, Ali Raza.
The Director General emphasized the importance of adopting preventive measures to combat dengue and urged citizens to eliminate stagnant water from their surroundings.
Besides, the RDA spokesperson highlighted the Director General’s call for cleanliness, advising residents to ensure that no water accumulates in open spaces or corners of their homes.
Furthermore, the regular use of mosquito repellent spray was also encouraged, and RDA officials were directed to implement preventive measures within the office premises.
