SWABI: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has authorized PKR 200 million for the restoration and expansion of the 9-kilometer Utla-Bir Gali Road, which would be linked to the hilly region of Gadoon Amazai.
An official from the provincial communication and works department stated that development on the project began a few months ago.
It is stated that the Utla-Bir Road will alleviate the locals’ connectivity issues.
The proposed route would promote tourism in the region by making it more accessible to visitors visiting the Bir Gali and Dand localities.
Furthermore, the road’s restoration will facilitate access to Mahaban Mountain, which is around four kilometers from Bir Gali.
It was discovered that the mountain connects the four districts, Buner, Torghar, Haripur, and Swabi. The project is expected to take one and a half years to complete.
