PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched a mobile application for surveying damaged houses in flood-affected districts to provide transparent relief compensation to flood victims.
According to sources, a meeting in this regard was held on Tuesday, presided over by Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash.
Additional Chief Secretary, relevant Administrative Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Pak Army, NDMA representatives, and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board had prepared a mobile app for surveying affected houses, for which master training was being provided to concerned officials.
It was also revealed that the survey of flood-affected homes would begin on September 15.
