KP’s Property Dealers Association Urges Govt to Reconsider Rising Taxes

PESHAWAR: The All-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Property Dealers Association voiced their discontent with the government’s increased taxes on their business operations and urged for a reevaluation of the tax rates.

During a press conference held recently, representatives of the association, including Younas Khan, Dr. Mehrab Bangash, Asmatullah Afridi, and others, expressed their concerns regarding the escalating taxes imposed on property transactions.

According to the details, the speakers highlighted the adverse effects of these taxes on their businesses.

Furthermore, they stated that the burden was ultimately affecting individuals associated with the property sector.

The speakers alleged that collusion between the land mafia and certain corrupt individuals within the Land Revenue Department was resulting in the exploitation of vulnerable individuals, causing them to lose their hard-earned money.
