LAHORE: In a recent operation, Lahore Police has successfully cracked down on educational fraud, leading to the discovery of a large counterfeit operation.
As per the details, the gang was involved in producing Lahore Development Authority (LDA) documents worth billions of rupees, fake Punjab University degrees, and stamp papers.
The sources confirmed that the factory was situated in the Ghaziabad Police Station’s jurisdiction.
Further investigations revealed the illegal production of counterfeit official documents and tickets worth millions of rupees.
The authorities confiscated scanners, photocopiers, and other devices used in the production of fake public papers.
Besides, 2 individuals, identified as Sher Dil Khan and Tauqeer Ilyas, were arrested for running the fraudulent factory.
