LAHORE: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has entered into a partnership with Providential Group, a renowned developer in Dubai and the United Kingdom, to construct a cutting-edge Entertainment City in Lahore.
The project, set to be situated in a prime location in the city, aims to preserve the cultural heritage of Lahore and has immense tourism potential. The community will organize several events, exhibitions, and conferences, adding to the charm of the Entertainment City.
Urban activities and cultural events will blend to encourage ecotourism, with cultural activities taking place along the riverbanks.
According to the RUDA administration, the Entertainment City will offer several attractions, including a utility zone, single-family marinas, single-family residences, an entertainment island, and a mixed-use island. The commercial zone will provide essential services to both residents and visitors to the city.
It is important to note that the project is expected to create numerous job opportunities and attract foreign investment, generating significant economic activity in the region.
Moreover, RUDA has also participated in the Dubai International Property Expo, where it signed over seven memoranda of understanding (MOUs) for various development projects and foreign direct investment initiatives.
The proposed Entertainment City in Lahore is anticipated to be a major attraction for locals and foreigners alike, fostering cultural exchange and promoting economic growth.
