LAHORE: During a meeting, the Lahore commissioner and LDA director general briefed the caretaker Chief Minister (CM) about the progress of a walk and shop arena being constructed in Johar Town.
According to the details, the project spans 130 kanal of land, to provide a unique shopping experience.
The walk-and-shop arena will accommodate 84 units, offering various business opportunities, including rooftop restaurants.
Furthermore, it will also feature ample parking facilities for over 500 vehicles, ensuring convenience for visitors.
Additionally, the arena will cater to children’s entertainment needs by providing exciting recreational facilities such as a zip line, roller coaster, and amusement park.
Impressed by the project, the caretaker CM personally visited pavilions representing Italian, American, Chinese, Spanish, and Mughal architectural styles.
He emphasized the importance of conducting a transparent auction process for the project, ensuring fairness and equal opportunities for potential investors.
Furthermore, the caretaker CM directed the relevant officials to prioritize the completion of the Akbar Chowk flyover project by August.
It is relevant to mention that this infrastructure project aims to improve traffic flow and enhance connectivity in the area.
