Lahore’s KALMA Chowk Underpass Remodeling Project Completed, Alizeb Underpass Opened for Traffic

LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa recently paid a visit to the KALMA Chowk Underpass Remodeling Project, which has now been completed.

During the visit, the Commissioner also announced the opening of the Alizeb Underpass for general traffic, marking the completion of the Kalma Chowk Public Project.

According to an official tweet by the Commissioner’s office, the formal inauguration of the project will be carried out by the Chief Minister of Punjab in the near future.

The KALMA Chowk Underpass Remodeling Project is expected to provide significant relief to commuters and ease traffic congestion in the area.

  1. Generally, it’s been well made. However, there is an issue with traffic coming from Askari 5 and entering Main Boulevard and wanting to proceed to Jail Rd. I don’t think this was thought very well and needs to be addressed
    I don’t know whom to address this issue with.

    1. Askari 5 management should immediately come into action and should raise this issue with CBDA & FWO being project incharge

  2. There is absolutely no planning for the vehicles coming out of Askari 5 and going towards liberty… Poor planning…
