LAHORE: In a bid to tackle the issue of illegal constructions and encroachments on parking spaces along model roads, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has initiated a targeted operation.
Additionally, notices have been served to more than 125 commercial properties, offices, and schools located on Multan Road, Allama Iqbal Town, and Main Boulevard Allama Iqbal Town.
The LDA, under the guidance of Director General and Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa, launched this operation to address the violations.
According to the spokesperson, the ongoing operation aims to curb encroachments and ensure compliance with parking regulations.
The properties in question have received notices for encroaching on parking spaces, thereby violating the rules.
Besides, the owners and management of these properties have been urged to adhere to the parking regulations promptly.
In addition, they were also instructed to implement various environment-friendly measures, including rooftop gardening, installation of solar panels, and plantation drives, among others.
