LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) governing body has issued PKR 1.6 billion to develop urban infrastructure in several areas of the provincial capital.
According to the details, the funds allocated will be used for the improvement of basic facilities, including roads, electricity, water supply, and sewerage in the suburban areas of Lahore.
This purpose is to enhance living standards and cater to the growing population, preventing congestion and traffic bottlenecks.
Earlier, the government issued PKR 1.2 billion for the project but later, it was increased to execute it with full potential.
It was shared that the government has also asked the authority to finish the ongoing development projects with the allocated budget.
