LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority’s Director General and Commissioner Lahore, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, chaired a meeting to review the performance of all departments.
During the meeting, he directed the officers to devise ‘Key Performance Indicators’ to evaluate the work of all wings.
Randhawa emphasized that Lahore Development Authority officers should meet the recovery targets, and strict action should be taken against defaulters of commercialization fees.
Besides, he also urged officers to adopt innovative practices from the corporate sector to enhance revenue generation.
Randhawa directed the Lahore Development Authority field teams to make the enforcement mechanism stricter and ensure that no negligence is tolerated.
He called for regular meetings to achieve recovery goals and concrete steps to upgrade nine important roads in the provincial capital into model roads in line with court orders.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Director General (Headquarters), Additional DG (Housing), Chief Engineer 1, Chief Engineer 2, Additional DG of Education and Katchi Abadis, Chief Town Planner, Chief Metropolitan, DG Headquarters, and Director of Finance.
