Under the supervision of Commissioner Randhawa, the joint operation aimed to remove encroachments occupying the designated parking area, inconveniencing residents and visitors alike.
The decision to take decisive action against the encroachers came as a response to mounting concerns from the public and to uphold the rule of law.
The sealed properties, that were violating zoning regulations, will remain closed until further notice.
This stern measure serves as a warning to other individuals or establishments engaging in similar encroachment practices, emphasizing the authorities’ commitment to maintaining public infrastructure and facilitating the ease of movement for citizens.
The district administration and police remain committed to their mission of ensuring efficient urban planning, safeguarding citizens’ interests, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive Lahore for all.
