LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority’s Town Planning Wing has launched an operation on Multan Road and sealed a number of businesses.
The operation was led by Director Town Planning Wing who sealed several businesses as their owners were unable to comply with the building regulations and land use rules.
It was also shared that these owners have developed structures without obtaining any commercial status for their businesses from the authorities.
The businesses that have been sealed by the authority include,
- Suzuki Adil Zafar
- Toyota Ravi Motors
- ISUZU Ravi Motos
- HAVAL GMC Motors
- Honda Haseeb Motors
- KFC Thokar
- Tyre Shop
According to LDA Director Salman Mehfooz, these businesses were served notice 15 days ago and were instructed to visit LDA in order to fulfill the requirements related to their property within 10 days but they failed to do so.
He also added that Multan Road is open for all kinds of commercial activities but only after the approval of LDA.
It Is important to note that the authorities across the country are taking strict actions against the land mafias and those who have illegally held government land.
