LDA Takes Down 13 Illegal Properties in Allama Iqbal Town

LAHORE: To combat illegal constructions and unauthorized commercial use of land, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) took action on Tuesday and demolished 13 illegal properties situated on the main Boulevard of Allama Iqbal Town.

Following the directives of Commissioner Lahore and DG Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, a team led by Director Town Planning Zone II, Asad uz Zaman, conducted the operation.

The team targeted the main Boulevard area of Allama Iqbal Town and sealed 13 illegally established shops, restaurants, food points, sheds, and other commercial constructions that violated regulations.

According to sources, before the operation, multiple notices were served to the owners of these illegal properties.

Besides, the operation also involved a significant deployment of police personnel and machinery to ensure its effectiveness.
