LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has issued a warning to the public against purchasing plots in an unauthorized area of Etihad Town Housing Scheme, located on Raiwind Road in Lahore.
The warning comes after it was discovered that the developer of the scheme was illegally advertising, selling, and booking plots beyond the approved area of 1614 kanal.
In an official statement released on their Twitter handle, LDA stated that the revised layout plan of Etihad Town Housing Scheme was approved by the Competent Authority subject to certain conditions on 6th February 2021.
However, it has been observed that the developer is offering plots beyond the approved area, which is a violation of the law.

Prospective buyers are urged to verify the status of the housing scheme and plots through the LDA One Window Cell. The approved scheme plans, including the Etihad Town Housing Scheme, are also available on the LDA website.
The Director Metropolitan Planning of LDA, MP Wing, has issued the warning and urged the public to be vigilant and cautious when investing in housing schemes.
