JHANG: On Sunday, Dr. Irshad Ahmad, Secretary of Local Government and Community Development (LG&CD) visited Jhang to review the progress of under-construction development projects.
During his visit, the secretary inspected the pace of ongoing work on the projects and was briefed by Deputy Commissioner Jhang Khuram Niazi on the completion time and construction progress.
The secretary also directed the waste management company to improve the cleanliness conditions of bus stands.
Furthermore, the secretary reviewed the sewerage line project, stating that the new sewerage line project would significantly improve the drainage process.
The repair process of the old sewerage line was underway with high-quality standards, according to the secretary.
Besides, the visit aimed to ensure that the development projects in Jhang were being carried out according to the set standards and that the local government was committed to providing the residents of Jhang with better facilities and services.
