ISLAMABAD: The Minister of Communications, Asad Mehmood, has announced plans to open service areas, housing accommodation, and food centers on the Yarik-Hakla Motorway to enhance the convenience of motorists.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, the minister revealed that these facilities will be established within the areas of Dera Ismail Khan, Mianwali, and Rawalpindi.
Minister Asad Mehmood also shared that the government has initiated the implementation of an e-tolling system on motorways and highways throughout the country.
According to officials, this move aims to streamline the toll collection process and improve efficiency for road users.
The upcoming developments on the Yarik-Hakla Motorway, including service areas, housing accommodation, and food centers, will significantly enhance the overall travel experience for motorists, the minister said.
He also added that facilities will provide convenient amenities and rest areas, catering to the needs of travelers along this important route.
