Minister Assures Provision of Housing Facility to Federal Government Employees

ISLAMABAD: According to Federal Minister for Housing and Works Maulana Abdul Wasay, the coalition government has made it a priority to provide housing facilities for federal employees in the capital.

He declared that a quota would be set aside in the federal government’s residential projects for lawyers, journalists, MPs, and citizens while launching the development work of the Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme also known as Green Enclave-II (Sky Gardens) for the federal government employees.

“In light of the current inflation, the government is using all available means to realize the goal of providing housing facilities for the convenience of government employees,” he added.

The minister, while expressing his resolve, stated that all obstacles in the housing projects would be removed to ensure their speedy completion.

Abdul Wasay urged the courts to settle the outstanding housing project cases because the delays were harming ordinary citizens.

He also claimed that Pakistan Bar Association’s housing project had its bottlenecks removed and been made operational.

The minister stated that the government was committed to completing all public welfare projects as soon as possible, and that the Sky Gardens project had been made operational after nearly six years.
