MULTAN: Multan Commissioner Engineer Amir Khattak has instructed all relevant officers to collaborate and ensure the speedy resolution of public complaints.
During a meeting, the commissioner warned that incomplete public welfare development projects due to negligence will not be tolerated and action will be taken against those responsible.
Khattak presented a model of good governance and urged the officers to carry out a comprehensive tree plantation campaign.
The commissioner also directed the Multan Development Authority (MDA) to collaborate with the city traffic police and make a comprehensive traffic plan for the city.
Additionally, the Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) was directed to launch a crackdown against littering and building materials thrown on roads and to form special teams to conduct cleanliness operations every Sunday.
The commissioner also ordered a crackdown against encroachment in the city’s green belts and demanded a report from the officers concerned regarding traffic signals installed at important intersections.
