ISLAMABAD: In a recent announcement, New Metro City Gujar Khan has pushed balloting dates besides revising the rates for residential Sector 1.
Here are the all important announcements that NMC Gujar Khan has made.
Revised Rates for Residential Sector 1
NMC has jacked up the rates of 5 Marla, 7 Marla, 10 Marla, and 1 Kanal residential plots in Sector 1 by 0.45m, 0.46m, 0.56m, and 0.86m respectively.

Date Extension of Block ‘A’ Special Ballot
According to NMC, the date for A Block’s special ballot has been pushed from Sep 30 to Oct 26, 2022.
The society says the decision has been made on repeated requests from overseas clients so they can make the balloon payments easily and take full part in the Special Ballot.
Date Extension for Un-Balloted Files
New Metro City Gujar Khan has also extended the date for the transfer of un-balloted files from Oct 3 to Oct 28.
NMC says that the extension has been made in view of the extension in ‘A’ Block ballot date. This will facilitate customers so all of them could easily take part in the upcoming ballot.
Last Date for Pre-Launch Residential Open File Submission
New Metro City Gujar Khan has also announced Oct 24, 2022, as the last date of submission for the pre-launch open files of 5 Marla, 7 Marla, 10 Marla, and 1 Kanal residential plots.
The society explains it to be the date till when investors can submit their open files (of 5 Marla, 7 Marla, 10 Marla, and 1 Kanal residential plots) on pre-launch/existing rates.
Submission of these files after Oct 24 will be as per revised rates.
The End of Seller-Free Policy for Balloted Files
According to the society, the seller-free policy of balloted files has been made defunct now.
The society says that customers of balloted files can take advantage of the seller-free policy by Oct 4, 2022. After the date, the transfer of files will be as per the regular process.
NMC has also added that the transfer of un-balloted files will also be through the regular process only after Oct 28, 2022.
New Metro City Gujar Khan also informs that the seller-free policy will be reintroduced after 50% completion of the payment plan.
