MULTAN: Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP) officials provided an update on the Nishtar-II project’s progress during a visit by Afzal Nasir Khan, the newly appointed Secretary of Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education (SH&ME) for South Punjab.
According to the officials, the civil work on the project is almost complete, while finishing work and machinery installation are underway.
During his visit, Khan instructed IDAP to complete the project on a war footing, suggesting an increase in manpower to achieve this.
He also directed NMU VC, Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmad, to monitor the project more effectively.
Later, Khan visited the Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology (CPEIC) to inspect different departments of the health facility and the extension of CPEIC.
