ISLAMABAD: Member National Highway Authority, Asim Amin, hosted an E-Katchery through NHA’s official Facebook page to address public concerns and answer queries related to the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway.
As per the details shared by Asim Amin, the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway project will be finished within the next 30 months.
He said that the motorway project was awarded the approval of the National Highway Authority Board and council.
According to international standards, the 306 km long motorway will comprise the following:
- 15 interchanges
- 1 main bridge over the River Indus
- 19 overpass bridges
- 82 bridges over canals
- 6 flyovers
- 10 service areas
The highway will be passing through the districts of Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Matiari, Benazirabad, Naushahro Feroze, Khairpur, and Sukkur.
It is important to note that the motorway project will provide economic prospects as well as create opportunities for a number of people.
