LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved 9 development projects worth PKR 16 billion.
The announcement was made during the 16th meeting of Punjab PDWP.
The development projects that have been approved include:
- PKR 1.022 billion allocated for the rehabilitation of Sahiwal-Arifwala Road to Harappa Bypass via Malan Shah Chowk in Sahiwal
- PKR 4.23 billion allocated for the improvement of the road from Sahiwal to Pakpattan
- PKR 1.45 billion for the rehabilitation of Pakpattan Kamir Road
- PKR 2.199 billion for the restoration of the road from Pakpattan to Marlay Chowk
- PKR 441.7 million for the rehabilitation of the road from Hamber to Bhabra in Mandi Bahauddin
- PKR 558.4 billion for the rehabilitation of the road from Gojra to Qadirabad
- PKR 692 million for the construction of a parking plaza at DHQ, Multan
- PKR 2.366 billion for the construction of bachelor accommodation and Judicial Rest House at Dharampura, Lahore
- PKR 3.03 billion for the improvement of Sheikhupura-Hafizabad road via Hiran Minar Interchange M-2, and Waris Shah Darbar Jandiala Sher Khan
