Police Books 6 Individuals for Encroaching NHA’s Land

ATTOCK: Law Enforcement Authorities have arrested six individuals accused of encroachment on the National Highway Authority’s land on CPEC.

According to the details, the area falls under the jurisdiction of the Injra police station.

The Deputy Director NHA Bashir Ahmed has shared the names of the encroachers with the Injra Police so they could take action against them.

The encroachers involved in the encroachments include Munir Asif, Tanveer, Naseer, Amir, and Noor Ahmed, who are permanent residents of village Barwala in Jand District Attock.

Deputy Director shared that the encroachers have made illegal pathways on CPEC and were operating hotels without getting permission or approval from concerned departments.

He also informed the police that the encroachers refused to remove encroachments and threatened NHA officials when asked to stop illegal activities.

Furthermore, illegal constructions have disrupted the traffic flow, and many accidents occurred due to such issues.
