FGEHA-SCBAP Park Road Housing Scheme

Park Road Housing Scheme is a joint housing project of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority and the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan and will be developed by NESPAK. The project is located on the main park road (Moza Tamma and Mariyan).

The project held an inaugurating ceremony 11 months ago which was attended by a number of Judges and other Supreme Court Bar Association employees. The project is positioned at a 7 minutes’ drive from COMSATS University Islamabad, 28 minutes’ drive from Zero Point Islamabad and 20 minutes’ drive from Islamabad Expressway.

The project has 5,690 plots in total, out of which 2,345 are dedicated to the FGEHA employees and 2,345 plots are dedicated to the employees of SCBAP.

The allocation of plots depends upon criteria for the employees of both departments.

For the FG employees, plots are allotted on the basis of seniority while the employees of the SCBAP are required to get a recommendation letter from SCBAP.

As per the details on the FGEHA’s official website, the Layout Plan for an area of 8380.3 Kanal has been approved and it is mentioned in the document that 777 residential plots with size (32 X 70) and 1916 residential plots with size (50X90) will be given to the SCBAP.

On September 14^th, a balloting ceremony was held at the Islamabad Convention center in which allotment letters were distributed to the members of FGEHA and SCBAP.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Minister for Housing & Works, Minister for Law & Justice and President SCBA attended the ceremony.

NESPAK

The Government of Pakistan formed NESPAK as a private limited corporation in 1973. The goal of its establishment was to build a pool of competent engineers, achieve self-sufficiency in engineering consultancy, and replace foreign consultants.

NESPAK now employs a workforce of over 4500 people.

The overall expected turnover for the fiscal year 2021-2022 was Rs. 7.59 billion, while the total cumulative cost of NESPAK’s projects was US $ 330 billion.
