About

This Housing Scheme is being established by OPF under the name OPF valley and is located at Japan Road in Zone V of Islamabad.

Society has faced many hurdles as many plots were in litigation area and hence, the case has been going on different legal forums. Currently, the case is in Islamabad High Court.

However, many efforts have been made by the OPF management and the development of the society is near completion.

OPF started to grant possession to the allottees in late 2017 in Sector C of the society where the road network, water supply drainage works, pavements, and electrification were completed.

Moreover, the management was facing an issue regarding the approach road for which an agreement was signed in 2015 and the management is hoping to link the society with the Islamabad expressway through Gulberg Greens road.

The society is approved by Capital Development Authority and has NOC for about 4683 Kanal of land.

Property Types

A total of 2246 residential Plots, 274 commercial plots, 50 country homes and 120 apartments were created.

From which 2246 residential plots, 16 Commercial Plots, 22 Country homes and 23 apartments have been allotted.

The Society doesn’t have any small size plot and offers 14 marla 1, 2 and 4 kanal plots. The prices vary with respect to the size and location of the plots.

Planning and Designing of the housing scheme has been carried out by NESPAK. It was established in 1973 as a private limited company by the Government of Pakistan.

The company was established to pool talented and professional engineers to attain self-reliance in engineering consultancy and to replace foreign companies. At present, NESPAK has 4100 employees.

Master Plan

OPF Housing Society/OPF Valley is stretched over an area of almost 5000 kanal. The society features blocks from A to G with plots and villas having different sizes.

Moreover the layout plan has been approved by Capital Development Authority with NOC for an area of 4683 Kanal.
Schools, Mosques, Health Centres, Parks and playgrounds are also part of the master plan.

Land Division

The society has divided its 5000 kanal of land area into different residential and commercial blocks.

60% plots have been allotted to overseas Pakistanis while 40% to locals, according to the quota of allotment.

  • 100 kanals of land has been allocated for commercial plots, although they are not ready for possession yet. Development is progressing speedily, and soon they will be ready for construction.

OPF Country Homes

OPF Country Homes provide a natural environment with all the modern amenities according to international standards. 160 Kanal of land has been allocated for this project, where 200 country homes will be developed.

OPF Modern Luxury Apartments

OPF Modern Luxury Apartments is also a sub-luxury project of the OPF Valley. They aim to provide a corporate lifestyle to the inhabitants.

It is spread over 6 kanal of land in Block B, comprising 6 towers consisting of 200 two-bed luxury apartments.

Booking Process

Residential or commercial plots in OPF Valley Islamabad are available in resale market so anybody can buy a property from open market and transfer to his name.

In case of booking an apartment or country home, only members of OPF can avail new bookings.

Overseas Pakistanis must be registered with the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation to book  a property in OPF Valley.

Follow the steps on OPF website to get registered. A duly filled application form, necessary documents, and booking fee must be submitted for booking purposes.

Final Word

OPF Valley is a fine option to invest in Islamabad as other adjoining societies have a comparatively higher payment plan.

Overseas Pakistanis have also got a safe investment option which is free of traditional file system as the society aims to provide all the security and safety in exchange of money while also adding a value to their investments

The location of this project is another solid reason for its value. The prices are affordable at the moment which might become a profitable investment because the rates are expected to skyrocket after completion of development.
