Property Developer Among 4 Killed in Broad Daylight Shooting

RAWALPINDI: A property developer was among 4 people killed in a broad daylight shooting on Tuesday near Hathi Chowk in the limits of Cantt Police Station in Rawalpindi.

According to sources, 3 other people were also killed in the incident, and the assailants managed to escape after the shooting.

A police spokesperson stated that the incident was the result of an old enmity between Raja Sajid and Arshad Bhatti groups over a murder that took place in the past.

On Tuesday, Sardar Azam, a partner of Raja Sajid in the property business, was visiting an office near Hathi Chowk in Sadar when the suspects opened fire.

The firing was so intense that Sardar Azam was killed on the spot, while Raja Sajid, Haider, and another man named Abu Bakar were left injured.

City Police Officer Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani took strict notice of the incident and ordered officials to arrest the accused at the earliest.
