Punjab Government Plans to Develop Ferozepur Road into a Central Business District

LAHORE: The government of Punjab is considering the development of Ferozepur Road into a Central Business District (CBD) by constructing modern high-rise commercial buildings.

According to the details, the provincial government is considering building high-rise commercial centers at the sites of Rescue 1122 Academy and Camp Jail.

The project is expected to generate billions of rupees for the provincial government.

During a meeting, Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi discussed the proposal and directed relevant authorities to prepare a comprehensive plan for the commercial buildings.

He also instructed officials to look for alternate locations for Camp Jail and Rescue 1122 Academy.
