Punjab Land Record Authority Processes 2.6 Million Transactions in Fiscal Year 2022-23

A Punjab Land Record Authority official has reported that around 2.6 million land record transactions were processed between July 1, 2022, and March 1, 2023.

This resulted in the payment of Rs. 11 billion in provincial taxes and service expenses to the government.

Approximately 0.18 million people received computerized Fard through the land records network of 232 land record centers, DMM, NADRA, and banks.

The centers also confirmed 0.85 million modifications and verified 0.4 million deaths, with 0.15 million confirmed through e-service centers and 0.25 million through the registry.

It is important to note that over 7,000 banks and 14,000 mutations were inspected using mobile vans, while 244 complaints were registered on the Prime Minister’s website about the PLRA during that time.

The implementation of enhanced regulation and monitoring promptly brought relief to the public.
