RDA Gives Final Ultimatum to Owners of Illegal Commercial Buildings

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has issued a 14-day ultimatum to the owners of illegal commercial buildings to regularize their buildings.

As per the details, the announcement was made on Monday by an RDA spokesperson, following a survey of commercial buildings in the RDA-controlled area.

The RDA is urging people to visit their One Window Operation Center, e-Khidmat Markaz, or the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce to deposit the relevant RDA fees and get their commercial buildings regularized within the given timeframe.

Moreover, the President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Saqib Rafique, has appreciated the initiative and requested the business community, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, and Traders Association to cooperate with the RDA in this effort.

According to the RDA spokesperson, if the general public has any complaints or queries, they can submit them to the DG RDA office or call the office number 051-9334303.

The RDA has directed its employees to complete the work within two weeks, and the ultimatum is a part of the RDA’s effort to promote a business-friendly environment in Rawalpindi.
