RDA Holds First Meeting of Consultant Selection Committee for Field Inspection Outsourcing Project

RAWALPINDI: A meeting of the Consultant Selection Committee (CSC) for the “Outsourcing of Field Inspections of Construction Activities in the Jurisdiction of RDA” project has been held.

The committee was composed of Director Land Use & Building Control Jamshaid Aftab, a representative from the Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department named Mohammad Saleem Ashraf, a representative from the Finance Department named Mohammad Javed, and a representative from P&D.

During the meeting, the committee opened the pre-qualification documents, including the Expression of Interest (EOI).

According to an RDA official, four firms have participated in the project.

The CSC will now proceed with the evaluation of the pre-qualification documents submitted by the firms to determine their eligibility to take part in the bidding process for the project.

The outsourcing of field inspections of construction activities is a crucial project that aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of inspections in the jurisdiction of RDA.

The project is expected to bring in experienced and professional firms that will help the RDA in ensuring the quality of construction work in the region.
