RDA Initiates Crackdown on Illegal Housing Societies in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: The Director General of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Saif Anwar Jappa, has assigned a special task to the RDA enforcement team to crack down on illegal housing societies.

Responding to the growing number of complaints from citizens, the RDA spokesperson announced that the Director General has issued an order to all relevant officers and officials to promptly address these complaints.

The RDA DG has taken serious note of the situation and has cautioned the public to refrain from investing in illegal housing schemes.

He has instructed the enforcement team to take action against the advertisements and marketing campaigns of these unauthorized societies and has emphasized the need to file First Information Reports (FIRs) against the owners responsible for these illegal activities.

The spokesperson further highlighted that the owners and sponsors of these illegal schemes are misleading the public, which prompted the RDA to take decisive action.

Additionally, the RDA planning wing has approached the FIA Cyber Crime Wing, requesting legal action against the misleading advertisements of these unlawful housing schemes.
