RDA Issues Notices to Five Unauthorized Housing Projects

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has taken stringent measures against unauthorized private housing schemes in the region.

On Thursday, the authority issued notices to five housing schemes that were operating without the necessary permissions.

This move came under the directives of the Director General, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa.

In line with the law, the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate has initiated action against those who have violated the rules.

The following housing schemes have been served notices:

  • Cargo Village Housing Scheme in Mouza Katarian near Airport Islamabad, owned by Malik Muhammad Ramzan.
  • Hum Watan Enclave in Mouza Misriot near Misriot Dam, owned by Ali Shah.
  • Green Hawks in Mouza Bhal at Chak Beli Khan Road to Chontra Road, owned by Tajammal Hussain Khanial.
  • Anmol Garden in Mouza Misriot, owned by Sahbbir Amin.
  • Ameen Housing Scheme, owned by Abdur Razaq Chaudhry.

Furthermore, the Director General has instructed the relevant authorities to clamp down on illegal advertisements related to these housing schemes.

The RDA remains committed to ensuring that all housing schemes operate within the legal framework to protect the interests of the public.
