RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to host a public hearing on April 10 to finalize the Peri-Urban Structure Plan and Site Development Zone for the four tehsils of Rawalpindi, including Gujar Khan, Kallar Syedan, Taxila, and Kahuta.
The hearing will be held at the office of Assistant Commissioner Gujar Khan. It will be attended by representatives from Mott McDonald Pakistan Company, the Deputy Director District Office Environment, the Deputy Director Agriculture Department, the Director Admin and Finance RDA, and the Deputy Director Planning RDA.
As per a spokesman for the RDA, the proposed Peri-Urban Structure Plan has already been completed and uploaded to the RDA’s official website, www.rda.gop.pk, in compliance with directives issued by Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa.
The RDA has also invited objections and suggestions related to the plan from the general public, which can be submitted to the offices of Director Metropolitan Planning Muhammad Tahir Meo and Assistant Commissioners.
