KARACHI: A fire broke out in Saima Trade Tower, located at the I.I. Chundigar Road in Karachi.
The fire erupted on the building’s 16th floor, and authorities evacuated the building to avoid any mishap.
It was shared that the building caught fire due to short-circuiting.
The fire brigade and concerned departments arrived on time, but it was shared that the city’s fire brigade was not well equipped.
It is important to note that the same building caught fire in 2017, and it took the fire brigade 12 hours to douse the fire due to a lack of sophisticated equipment.
