The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has directed all banks to accelerate the payments of approved housing financing cases under the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar (MPMG) scheme.
The SBP announced the decision on Tuesday via a tweet, saying it will “closely monitor all such situations & applicants experiencing any difficulties may report grievances at servicedesk.sbp.org.pk.”
On July 25, the Ministry of Finance also tweeted, “Finance Division has today conveyed its permission to resume disbursements to already approved cases under Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar Scheme.”
Resultantly, SBP has now also directed the banks/Development Finance Institutions (DFIs)/Microfinance Banks (MFBs) to release and expedite the disbursements of approved cases under MPMG.
