MULTAN: On Tuesday, Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, the secretary of housing for South Punjab, toured several parts of the city to assess the status of the ongoing construction projects.
Furthermore, Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Jawad Kaleemullah and Deputy Secretary Malik Zahid Iqbal accompanied Secretary of Housing Muhammad Asif Chaudhry during his visit to Nawabpur Road and BCG Chowk.
Speaking at the event, Muhammad Asif Chaudhry gave instructions to the relevant authorities to pick up the pace to finish the development projects at the earliest.
He also stated that delayed development projects would receive special attention and cautioned the relevant officers to use high-quality materials, adding that irresponsibility would not be allowed in any project.
The MD of WASA, Jawad Kaleemullah, briefed the Secretary of Housing and stated that the sewerage project of the Nawabpur road had been finished since a water supply line was being installed before the road construction.
He also said that the first phase of the BCG Chowk sewerage project, which involved installing 1,500 feet of new 42-inch sewage line, was already complete.
