SHC Issues Notices to KDA, KMC Over Misuse of Public Property

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has issued notices to the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) after a petition was filed against the installation of heavy machinery and batching plant at a public park in North Nazimabad.

The petition was filed by Muhammad Ameen Khan and other residents of North Nazimabad Block H and L.

The petition said that the KDA and KMC have failed to stop Federal Works Organization (FWO) from occupying the public property and installing the plant, which caused noise and environmental pollution.
