KARACHI: In a meeting held on Tuesday, Sindh Chief Secretary (CS) Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput assured the prompt commencement of development projects in Journalist Colony Hawk’s Bay and New Malir Housing Scheme Block 12.
The meeting was attended by President Karachi Press Club (KPC) Saeed Sarbazi and Secretary KPC Shoaib Ahmed, who discussed the housing society issues of Karachi Press Club with CS Sindh.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Kiamari to immediately begin the demarcation process of Lyari Development Authority Block 68 and ensure the prompt transfer of land possession to the Karachi Press Club.
President KPC, Saeed Sarbazi, provided a comprehensive briefing to CS Sindh regarding the demarcation matters of Lyari Development Authority Hawk’s Bay Block 68, ongoing development work in Block 3A and 3A-1.
Moreover, he also briefed the CS on the upcoming development projects for the resettlement of allottees in Journalist Colony of Malir Development Authority Block 12, and the proposed allotment of plots to 700 new KPC members.
Secretary KPC, Shoaib Ahmed, expressed gratitude to Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput for his continuous support and cooperation with the Karachi Press Club and the journalist community.
