ISLAMABAD: In a plea filed on Thursday, the Supreme Court ordered the Centre to relocate the Bhong Interchange on the Lahore-Karachi Motorway.

However, the court further stated that following the change of government, the location of the Bhong Interchange had been modified, and a motorway interchange had been constructed there.

Advocate Faisal Chaudhry added that the National Highway Authority had proposed the development of the interchange at Bhong in PC-1 by the Interchange Development and Planning Division.

Following that, the court issued notice to the federal government, requested a response, and adjourned the case’s hearing.
