LAHORE: On Sunday, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi presided over a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office to discuss the progress of road sector projects in the province.
During the meeting, the CM emphasized the timely completion of all ongoing road projects in Punjab to provide maximum facilitation and comfort to the public.
He directed officials to prioritize the construction of roads connecting cities to the motorways and to ensure the timely completion of construction and repair work projects of the link roads.
The CM also instructed officials to focus on road patchwork and the restoration of the road shoulder and its construction.
The briefing presented to the Chief Minister informed him that there are 1,819 construction and repair work projects currently under completion across Punjab.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister for Communication & Works (C&W) Bilal Afzal, Chairman of Planning & Development, Secretary of Finance, Secretary of C&W, and other concerned officials.
