KARACHI: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has pledged support to the Sindh government in the construction of houses for those affected by floods in the province.
As per the details, this collaborative effort was discussed during a meeting between UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi on Saturday.
Both parties expressed their commitment to expedite the housing project, aiming to provide much-needed shelter to the flood affectees.
The meeting also emphasized the intention to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance trade between Pakistan and the UAE.
During the discussion, the UAE ambassador conveyed the keen interest of investors from his country to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.
