RAWALPINDI: The Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) in Rawalpindi has undergone a thorough inspection by the Superintendent Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department, Gujranwala Division, as per the directions of the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Punjab.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the machinery and operations of WASA, while the official expressed complete satisfaction with the agency’s machinery during the inspection conducted on Friday.
Following the positive evaluation, WASA has initiated the clearance and cleaning of Nullah Leh to prevent potential flooding during the upcoming monsoon season.
The visit by Superintendent Engineer from the Public Health Engineering Department served as a third-party assessment.
Besides, WASA’s Managing Director, Muhammad Tanvir, and Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Saleem Ashraf, were also present during the inspection and provided a comprehensive briefing.
