Work on 547 Uplift Projects in Multan Division Kicks Off

MULTAN: The Director of Development for Multan Division has stated that Rs. 2.118 billion or 7% of the total 12.48 billion rupees had been released for 458 public buildings and road development projects for the current fiscal year.

The director shared her thoughts with officers from the public relations department, adding that the projects also include road construction, repair, and maintenance in various localities.

The sources further said that 86 new public building and road projects have been presented to the authorities out of which only 65 got approval. The schemes in question have been allocated Rs. 3.81 billion.

Similarly, 24 road maintenance projects in four districts of Multan Division – including Multan, Vehari, Khanewal, and Lodhran – have been budgeted for more than Rs. 10 million in the current fiscal year.

According to the director, special attention was paid to the quality of construction on these projects to make the best use of funds for the development of sustainable initiatives.
