LAHORE: The Director General of Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Aamir Ahmed Khan, visited Abdul Haq Road G-1 Market and Expo Centre Road (Emporium Mall) to review the ongoing efforts to transform roads into model roads.
According to the DG, LDA is working tirelessly to develop 9 important roads by the directives from the Lahore High Court.
As per the details, the road from Doctor Hospital to the Expo Centre is being upgraded to a model road.
The DG emphasized the need for a plan for parking and encroachment removal from G-1 Market, to be prepared in collaboration with Tepa, PHA, and local traders at the earliest.
Additionally, the DG advised the Emporium Mall management to make arrangements for motorcycle and car parking inside the mall to prevent any traffic disruption on the outside.
A traffic management plan should also be implemented during school and peak hours to ensure the effective flow of traffic.
