Narrated Abu Huraira Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said:

“The angels keep on asking Allah’s forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Mu’salla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, ‘O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him.”

(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 8, Hadith #436)

Such is the significance of Namaz and praying regularly five times a day. Allah loves a man who does not forget a prayer and prays on time. Praying on time in congregation at the Masjids is a favoured act and Allah promises to reward his good creatures on the Day of Judgement.
