In a recent event, the Mobilink Foundation donated gifts of stationary and essential school items to over a hundred special children at the Green Land School.
A team of Mobilink Torchbearers distributed packs containing games, lunch boxes, coloring books, crayons, candy bags and stationary items among the children.
Omar Manzur, Director Public Relations and CSR, Mobilink highlighted,
We understand the importance of such initiatives for children with special needs and will continue to support these and similar activities that provide such children with some joy and excitement.
These school supplies will also serve as useful aids in helping these children with their everyday school activities.
This activity is an addition to many similar activities by the the Mobilink Foundation, which has stepped forward to help change education, health and environment for the good.
So far, the Foundation has donated more than 30,000 school bags made from recycled advertising material and has also participated in other welfare activities such as helping flood victims construct their homes and other support activities.
Well done Mobilink Foundation. You know these guys have been doing a lot. Their contribution has been immense for the social uplift and other aids. Recently they donated imported wheel chairs and other things to the special children in Karachi as well. Worth an applause really. These children deserve our utmost care.
