NADRA Pak ID App Gets New Features

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released version 5.6.8 of its Pak ID mobile application, introducing new digital vehicle services for residents of Balochistan.

In the latest update, developed in collaboration with the Government of Balochistan, users can now access digital registration cards for vehicles registered in the province directly through the Pak ID app.

NADRA has also introduced biometric verification for the sale and purchase of Balochistan-registered vehicles, allowing citizens to complete the authentication process remotely without visiting a physical office.

According to NADRA, the new services enable residents to access these facilities from the comfort of their homes, further expanding the range of digital public services available through the app.

The latest release comes days after NADRA launched Pak ID version 5.6.6, which introduced the new “View Card” feature. The feature allows applicants to preview their expected National Identity Card before submitting an application, review all entered information, and correct any errors before final submission.

Version 5.6.6 also marked the rollout of digital registration services for births, deaths, marriages, and divorces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through the Pak ID app. The service was initially launched across all village and neighborhood councils in Peshawar and is expected to be expanded across the province in phases.
