This year again Warid Telecom sponsored Islamabad Club’s Grand Tombola Night.

The event was attended by over 2500 people from all walks of life. Everyone enjoyed the evening thoroughly by playing the exciting game of Tombola.

Free Blackberry handsets and other prizes were given out to the winners by the Sponsor.

    @asad: I think Warid knowns that most of its user are from middle and upper middle class. So they don’t want to loss this market share. As Warid still leads in Postpaid subscriber base. Yes they need very big marketing boost as price and product of warid are still unmatchable.

    Just to add, Waqar is kinda right and so is Waqas.
    Since Warid has the largest postpaid base ttherefore it makes sense for them to undertake initiatives like these to rremain strong in this high end segment.
    Primarily members of Islamabad Club and their families and friends attend the event. People of all ages are present there.Primarily beurocrats/ministers and accomplished professional come to enjoy an evening of fun with family.People actually wait each year for this event to happen.I was there myself last year
    Overall I consider it a Mega Event worthy of sponsorship. Kudos to Team Warid!
